Camino Care always raises money for exactly one project. Once its budget is reached, the next project follows. Here you can see what we’re working on right now, what’s coming next and what has already been achieved.
Current project
The next project is being chosen right now
As soon as we know which project will be funded next, we’ll introduce it here: who’s behind it, what the money is needed for and how big the budget is.
Coming next
The waiting list is being put together. The order of the projects is set by an association, not by us alone. That way, help goes first to where support is needed most urgently.
Do you know an albergue or initiative on the Camino that needs support? Suggest a project to us.

80 polo shirts for the volunteers at the Oficina do Peregrino in Porto
At the pilgrim office in Porto, volunteers welcome pilgrims every day, stamp credentials and share tips for the way. The team received 80 navy polo shirts with a golden scallop shell. This way, every pilgrim can spot the volunteers right away.
€1,444.27
donated by Camino Ninja
This first project was not funded through collected donations but paid for directly by Camino Unlimited Ltd, the company behind Camino Ninja.
What a project can look like
An example: a small pilgrim albergue needs a new roof before next winter. The project gets a fixed budget, say €5,000. Until that amount is reached, all Camino Care donations go into this roof. Then we move on to the next project.
